Why Aren’t You Following the 80/20 Rule?

I’m not going to point fingers, but I am still seeing such a high number of folks still not following the 80-20 Rule. I can only assume that it is because the concept may still be unclear (…and because I don’t want to accept that they just may be simply ignoring the principle ;) )

When Fans like items on your page or decide to share something from your page (using the Share link) it now has a direct link back to your Page no matter how far down the line the share goes. Fan interactions on your Page are shown in the real-time Ticker. Facebook is really going viral.

It’s arguable that all Facebook insights should be watched/reviewed regularly. If you’re like me you don’t feel like you have time for that nor want to do that. I understand. With that said, this post is not to excuse you from monitoring your stats or to give you the excuse, “Well, Monyelle said I didn’t need to monitor that.” My objective is the opposite, to make reviewing your insights a bit easier and quicker. You’ll know what to look for and how to improve your page engagement.
