Are Reward Programs Valuable?

Do You Think Reward Programs Are Valuable?

There are so many examples of businesses and corporations who have implemented reward programs with great success. But what about small business/solopreneurs? Can they reap the same benefits of a reward program?

Benefits of Reward Programs

  • Loyalty
  • Consistent Traffic
  • Brand Development

BUT…. Your amazing CONTENT, products, website, videos etc should already be doing this. Do not use a reward program as an excuse to slack on producing and providing great helpful content.

Your new addition should be a bonus to those who are already supportive and follow your work. The program will bring in new faces, but the value you provide really should be what keeps your visitors coming back.

Rewards To Earn

I have decide to try a loyalty program from Punch Tab. It’s easy to participate, instal, and customize. Participants will earn gift cards to:

  • Groupon
  • Barnes & Noble
  • Amazon.com
  • Restaurant.com

How to Start Earning Rewards

At the top right of your screen is a red tab/flag “Rewards” (see below). Click on the red flag.

Read the program rules.

Create your account.

Earn points for visiting MonyelleMingo.com, leaving comments, and sharing posts on Facebook & Twitter.

My objective, as mentioned earlier, is to give back to those who have already been so supportive of my blog and work. A little gift is the least I can do to say Thank You!

Have you tried a reward program for your business?

To your success,

  1. Interesting concept. Do you know if a person follows multiple people who offer PunchTab rewards, do the points combine towards the rewards, or does a user have to earn the rewards independently under each affiliate?

    • Good question! I’m not sure but will investigate. My assumption would be that its under each affiliate that way you build “loyalty” to each blog/site you’re visiting.

  2. Interesting indeed…I will look more into this…Thanks for sharing Monyelle

  3. This is a very interesting concept Monyelle and on first impressions it does look like a good idea, although I must admit I have never been one for rewards programs.
